Parenting Assessment Centre Manager - Blackburn

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a vibrant Parenting Assessment Centre (PAC) in Blackburn.
About the Role:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the PAC. You will lead a dedicated team of social workers and ensure the smooth running of assessments for families going through child protection proceedings.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing the delivery of high-quality parenting assessments in line with national standards.
* Leading and motivating a team of social workers, providing support and ensuring their professional development.
* Ensuring the PAC operates effectively and efficiently, within budget constraints.
* Upholding robust safeguarding procedures and promoting a positive safeguarding culture.
* Representing the PAC at meetings with external agencies.
* Contributing to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives.
About You:
* You are a qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England (SWE).
* You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior social work management role, ideally within a PAC setting.
* You possess a strong understanding of parenting assessments and relevant legislation.
* You are a confident and effective leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* You are passionate about safeguarding children and young people.
* You are a strong advocate for social justice and equality.
* You are a Registered Manager (RM) with demonstrable experience in managing staff and resources.
