Assembly Line Supervisor -- Full Time Permanent Salary: £13.50 -£16.50 per hour SpreadPoint is an award winning and innovative manufacturing company based in County Down, producing some of the most technologically advanced agricultural/industrial machinery in Northern Ireland. Job Description This is a hands-on leadership role in a LEAN, fast paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for the daily supervision of the final assembly lines, ensuring quality,output, efficiency and safety targets are met. You will play a key part in driving LEAN manufacturing principles, continuous improvement and team performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with the pre and postproduction engineers to ensure smooth delivery of SpreadPoint production. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate final assembly line activities to meet production targets Lead, motivate and develop assembly line operatives Monitor output, cycle times, utilisation and line performance of your team Escalate production issues and help provide solutions to overcome them Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) Training and assisting of assembly line operators Essential qualifications/ attributes Minimum 3 years’ hands on experience in Technical / Engineering roles Full UK driving license or equivalent Desirable attributes Knowledge of LEAN production techniques Strong leadership style with a hands-on approach and can-do attitude For further information or if you’re up for the challenge, please send a copy of your CV to admin@spreadpoint.co.uk Spreadpoint is an equal opportunities employer.
