The Best Connection are recruiting a Part-Time Health & Safety Compliance Manager for a well-established client based in Tamworth. This is a flexible, long-term opportunity ideal for an experienced H&S professional looking for part-time hours while maintaining responsibility and influence across the business.

Pay & Working Hours
* 20 hours per week
* Monday to Friday (flexible working pattern - open to discussion for the right candidate)
* £18.00 - £21.00 per hour, depending on experience
* Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and ensure all risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work are in place and maintained
* Develop, implement, and maintain Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) systems in line with current legislation
* Oversee day-to-day compliance across office and workshop environments
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records, including:
o Health & Safety files
o Fire Safety
o DSEAR
o RIDDOR
o COSHH
o Risk registers
* Plan and arrange site maintenance and safety inspections
* Deliver health & safety training and guidance to staff and site contractors
* Oversee health surveillance for engineers and paint shop employees

Skills & Experience Required
* NEBOSH qualification or equivalent (including Fire Safety)
* Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
* Up-to-date knowledge and practical application of HSE best practice
* Ability to work independently and confidently manage compliance
