Digital and Operations Manager Circa £90,000 + bonus + Bens
Our client is an expanding advisory and consultancy business with an established client base, the firm advises both mid-cap and private market businesses.
As a result of this growth and as part of a strategy to develop the footprint of the business, a new position has been created to oversee and optimise operations through improved working practices, optimisation of technology and adoption of automated tools.
The objective will be to streamline and enhance digital adoption, support the top line revenue growth and make the business more operationally efficient.
Identify and improve all operational aspects of the business with a heavy focus on the digital and technology ecosystem within the business, and externally in the market.
Improve working processes and procedures, making the business more efficient, enjoyable and facilitative for the team.
Manage the tech stack and associated supplier base which supports the technology stack in the business.
Work closely with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure optimal service delivery and contract compliance.
Facilitating any training and coaching for the organisation in order to support best practice.
Collaborate with all functions of the business to ensure operational efficiency, system reliability, and alignment with business goals.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), documentation, and compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
Lead incident management and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement – this will involve working collaboratively with all members of staff, including Executive levels, to deliver a best-in-class digital ecosystem for the business and its clients.
Ad hoc projects and development possibilities in the role may extend into marketing, corporate communications and people initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable expertise of driving digital automation and efficiency in a dynamic and scaling business, either from a series A-C environment, or an autonomous division within a larger corporate structure. Individual must possess a strong and current understanding of digital assets and automation tools.
