How will you make an impact in this role?
As part of the Financial Crimes Technology team you will join us to transform the Financial Crimes ecosystem to manage risk across the enterprise, the top priority for the company in 2026 and the years to come. You will lead scrum/kanban teams from a high performing engineering team, Maestro. Maestro is a global, resilient, Customer Data & Events Orchestrator which powers the modernization of our Financial Crimes ecosystem with the mission of protecting our customer individuals, our customer legal entities, our shareholders and our brand. Maestro is a vibrant and highly engaged team, very proud of their work delivered based on lean principles of continuous learning and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include to:
1. Manages the planning, coordination, and execution of technology-focused projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and project goals
2. Leads Agile release trains, coordinating with product owners, agile champions, and development teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of project milestones
3. Leads Program Increment (PI) planning meetings with senior leadership, product management, and delivery teams to ensure strategic alignment and readiness
4. Mentors Agile Release Train (ART) meetings to ensure the preparation, readiness, and prioritization of features for future PI planning sessions
5. Develops risk management plans, conducts regular risk assessments, and implements mitigation strategies to ensure smooth Agile Release Train (ART) execution
6. Analyzes and interprets relevant portfolio, Release Train, and team-level metrics to provide strategic insights into delivery and execution
7. Facilitates Inspect & Adapt sessions and other retrospective meetings to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the teams
8. Ensures compliance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards across the Agile Release Train (ART)
9. Utilizes advanced project management tools and techniques to monitor progress, track key metrics, and implement corrective actions
10. Owns the creation of technical specification documents and blogs that explain product functionality and provide clarity on the project objectives
11. Drives project quality by improving process gaps and increase efficiency and productivity
12. Engages with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team of colleagues, and external partners, to ensure strategic alignment and effective information flow
13. Develops risk management plans, conducts regular risk assessments, and implements mitigation strategies
14. Tracks relevant Objectives and Key Results/Key Performance Indicator (OKR/KPIs) to measure and report on project performance
15. Collaborates and co-creates effectively with teams in product and the business to align technology initiatives with business objectives
Minimum Qualifications:
16. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering), and/or comparable experience; advanced degree preferred
17. Deep knowledge and demonstrated experience of Agile/SAFe/Lean methodologies
18. Highly skilled in enterprise collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Rally, etc)
19. Knowledge of technical challenges and systems design, with the ability to facilitate technical discussions and drive solutions
20. Knowledge of the full life cycle of product development, from concept to delivery, including Test Driven Development
21. Ability to adapt to situations in order to quickly resolve issues and/or gain alignment
22. Ability to influence without authority and bring multiple partners to a unified consensus
