SLD Teaching Assistant
Location: Dudley
Duration: Full time, on going
Salary: £95 – £105 per day
The School/role:
We are looking for a full time TA to start working at a fantastic special needs school in Dudleylong-termsupply basis.This role requires at least two years experience working with a range of special needs such as ASD, ADHD, MLD, SLD in a school or healthcare environment. You will be working quite closely with SLD so strong knowledge is required. Key Duties:
* Constant Supervision:Provide vigilant supervision to ensure the safety of the child and others, particularly in managing disruptive behaviour.
* Building Trusting Relationships:Foster a trusting relationship with the student to create a supportive learning environment.
* Sensory Room Assistance:Facilitate the student’s engagement in the sensory room to enhance their learning experience.
* Outdoor Activities:Organise and facilitate opportunities for the student to run around outside each day, promoting physical activity and well-being.

Requirements:
* Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
* PECS and Makaton training/experience
* PMLD, SLD, MLD, ASD and Complex needs experience
* Level 1 safeguarding certificate
* Recent school based references
* Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
* Full DBS – on the update service
