Their focus is on providing best-in-class products in Gynaecology, Colorectal, Electrosurgical, Surgical Suction, Endoscopy, and Instrumentation categories. Their recently constructed, purpose-built distribution centre in Ashburton enables them to supply these critical medical devices nationwide, serving as the hub of their global supply chain excellence.
About the Role
The role reports to the General Manager. As a Medical Territory Manager, you will lead business development efforts to expand market reach and achieve revenue targets. The position requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of the healthcare industry. Based in Ashburton, relocation is preferred if outside the area; candidates in Christchurch or Timaru may also be considered, with at least two days per week in Ashburton. The role is Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 5 pm.
Ideal Candidate Attributes
* Solid experience in medical sales with revenue of $20M+ and a proven success record
* Strong understanding of business principles
* Experience in the NZ medical device space at a senior level with hospital management, Health NZ, and Pharmac
* Business development skills with strategic sales planning ability
* Team player with a can-do attitude
* Calm under pressure with attention to detail
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Innovative thinking and initiative
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
* Willingness to travel as needed
