We are seeking an organised and proactive Stores Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation of the stores department within a food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage daily stores operations, ensuring accurate stock movement and efficient storage
2. Maintain a safe, well-organised stores and engineering spares facility supporting the PPM programme
3. Control stock levels through accurate booking-in, cycle counts, stocktakes, and reordering
4. Coordinate purchasing for reactive maintenance activities
5. Lead and support junior stores team members
6. Produce reports on stock levels, orders, deliveries, and system performance
7. Work closely with Production, Procurement, and Quality teams
8. Support audits, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience
Essential:
9. Experience in a stores or inventory coordination role
10. Strong stock control and systems knowledge (CMMS/stock management)
11. Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills
12. Flexible, self-motivated, and solutions-focused
Desirable:
13. Experience within a food manufacturing environment
14. Ability to adapt to changing priorities or shift patterns
