The role
As an Environmental Officer at Natural Resources Wales (NRW), you will play a vital role in improving water quality at designated bathing beaches across the Vale of Glamorgan. Your main focus will be to investigate the causes of poor water quality and take targeted action to drive meaningful improvements.
This is a varied and impactful role involving regular site inspections, responding to environmental incidents, and analysing water quality data to identify trends and problem areas. You'll work closely with local partners, landowners, and other stakeholders to deliver sustainable solutions-and where necessary, you'll use enforcement powers to ensure compliance.
