Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

An independent Water Hygiene / Legionella specialist is seeking a reliable Water Hygiene Engineer to join their growing outfit. Our client has recently won new work in the region, including commercial and public sector contracts. You will be responsible for carrying out pre-planned ACOP L8 compliance duties, and reporting any non-conformities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a privately-owned outfit who pride themselves on upskilling and supporting their staff. Experience / Qualifications:
* Proven experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
* Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* Experience working across a mixed portfolio of client premises
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Proficient using IT software
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
The Role:
* Undertaking a range of ACOP L8 compliance duties across a variety of client contracts
* Showerhead and outlet descales
* Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
* Flushing on little used outlets
* TMV servicing and failsafe checks
* Water sampling
* Temperature monitoring
* Recording works completed and updating site logbooks
* Representing the company in a professional manner
