Job Description
The role of Site Maintenance Manager will involve:
3. Overseeing all facilities management across the site.
4. Ensuring the site is compliant with health, safety and environmental standards.
5. The day-to-day management of the facilities team.
6. Coordinating repairs and maintenance (planned and reactive) to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
7. Managing contractors and service providers effectively.
8. Implementing effective security and emergency measures across the site.
9. Regularly inspecting the site and liaising with relevant departments on improvements.
10. Developing and managing a site-specific maintenance budget.
11. Collaborating with senior management to determine property needs and goals.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Site Maintenance Manager should have:
12. A solid background in property and facilities management.
13. An excellent understanding of security and emergency plan measures.
14. Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
15. The ability to manage teams effectively.
16. Excellent project management and organisational skills.

18. A solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
19. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
20. A NEBOSH and/or IOSH qualification.
21. Previous experience in the educational sector (desirable).
