What the Role Involves Running Looms and Technical Equipment You will operate and monitor weaving looms, developing a solid understanding of how the machines perform and ensuring they run efficiently throughout your shift. Maintaining High Production Standards You will be responsible for both output and quality, ensuring the fabric produced meets required standards while maintaining steady productivity levels. Checking Quality and Reporting Issues You will carry out essential quality checks, complete reporting tasks accurately and quickly inform your supervisor of any faults or concerns. Keeping Work Areas Safe and Organised A clean and tidy workspace is vital. You will follow all health and safety guidelines and keep your machines and surrounding areas in good working order. Working as Part of a Tight‑Knit Team While you will run your own set of machines, you are part of a larger team working towards shared production goals, with communication and reliability being key. Knowledge, Skills & Experience A strong quality‑focused mindset with a commitment to excellence. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Clear and effective communication skills. A flexible, proactive approach to workload in a fast‑paced and changeable environment. Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided.
