The Role… Youth Worker in Schools
This is a rewarding and dynamic role working within a school environment, supporting young people who may need additional guidance and encouragement. One day different from the next -you will be working closely with pupils to support their emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement with education.
You will provide both in-class and pastoral support, helping students to build confidence, develop social skills, and stay focused on their learning. Using your experience, you will help manage behaviour positively and support students in making better choices both inside and outside the classroom.
You'll Be… * Experienced working with young people in a youth work, mentoring, or support role * Confident in building strong, positive relationships with students * Calm, approachable, and able to manage behaviour effectively * Proactive, resilient, and passionate about supporting young people to succeed
