Reporting into the People & Culture Manager this role offers an amazing opportunity for an experienced HR generalist with strong recruitment expertise delivering high quality people focused service across our UK and Spanish Campuses’ We are looking for an experienced People & Recruitment Advisor to join our team, who shares our vision for a collaborative, proactive, and supportive People function. This is a hands-on, generalist role, ideal for someone who is passionate about using their expertise to enhance the employee experience at every stage of the recruitment and employee lifecycle. In this role, you will be at the heart of the employee journey, supporting the full lifecycle while driving impactful recruitment activities. This is an engaging, hands-on opportunity where you can make a real difference, ensuring consistency and continuity across the People function while contributing to its ongoing development. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, based at our Oxford. Some home working may be possible. Role Duties Recruitment Duties Deliver an excellent recruitment experience to all applicants and prospective employees, ensuring company values are embedded throughout and communication is consistently high quality Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process using our ATS (Pinpoint), including posting job adverts, managing applications, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and supporting hiring managers Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand role requirements and support effective hiring decisions Coordinate and continuously improve the work experience programme, creating meaningful and well-structured placement opportunities across the business Provide administrative support for visa applications and international recruitment processes People & Operations Duties Act as a first point of contact for employee and manager queries relating to HR policies and procedures, escalating more complex or sensitive matters to the Interim People & Culture Manager Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing offer letters and contracts, coordinating inductions, and managing leaver administration Facilitate engaging, values-based new starter induction sessions to ensure colleagues are effectively onboarded and seamlessly integrated into the Leading Edge team Lead on key employee lifecycle activities, including drafting contractual change letters, monitoring probation periods, processing family leave requests, and responding to employment references Maintain accurate and compliant employee records within the HRIS (HiBob), ensuring confidentiality at all times Support payroll processes by collating and providing accurate employee data and documentation to Finance Assist with employee relations cases, including administrative support and leading on low-risk cases where appropriate Provide support and guidance to the People & Culture Assistant based at the Spanish Campus, particularly on more complex matters Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives across the business Contribute to HR projects and wider People team initiatives as required OUR CULTURE At Leading Edge Aviation, our Vision, Mission and Values guide everything that we do. Core Competencies Proven experience working in a HR, People or Recruitment Advisor position. CIPD qualified to Level 3, ideally studying towards Level 5 (or equivalent demonstrable experience) Good knowledge of UK employment law and experience applying this in a workplace setting (additional knowledge of Spanish employment law would also be an advantage). Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Confident working independently, bringing strong initiative skills to enhance your work Passionate about enhancing the employee experience through your work Confident and competent user of Microsoft Office Suite, including excellent Excel skills, and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships at all levels of the business Strong organisational and time management skills.
