The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider - a people-powered business of 4,000 'orange heroes' delivering top-notch motoring services. Our growth offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanic to join our team.
As a Roadside Mechanic you will need:
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* Technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence
* Flexibility to work on short notice
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight if necessary
This role involves working approximately 40 hours per week without a fixed schedule. Roster details will be provided seven days in advance, with core hours scheduled three days ahead, within 0600-0200. Shifts include evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
