About the business unit: The Energy unit delivers services to clients globally across sectors including hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable generation and transmission & distribution networks. We provide integrated engineering and project management services across the project lifecycle – from concept and design to construction and operations, to decommissioning or repowering and life extension. We help deliver the energy transition globally with our clients.
Role overview
Our Nuclear, Defence and Civil division is growing and we’re looking for a talented MEP BIM Technician to join our team. You’ll work on a diverse portfolio of projects, from defence and nuclear to energy and major infrastructure where your skills will make a real impact.
Key responsibilities and duties
* Create and develop 3D models using Revit, collaborating effectively across project teams
* Produce AutoCAD drawings and detailed designs through all project stages
* Work closely with the BIM team to ensure 3D information containers meet agreed standards, methods, and procedures
* Prepare schedules, specifications, and reports to support project delivery
* Conduct site surveys and respond to technical queries for MEP projects
* Support quality checks of drawings before technical review by Discipline Leads
Candidate specification
Essential:
* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
* Knowledge of MEP service coordination and construction techniques
* Understanding of building regulations
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
Desirable:
* Experience in Nuclear
* Experience in Nuclear projects
