Fully office-based role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Billing Administrator to support the finance and operations team within a busy telecoms company. The role involves a variety of administrative and billing-related tasks, data handling, reporting, and customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience working with data and is eager to grow within a corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Billing & Data Administration:
* Monthly billing administration for B2B and B2C customers (landline, broadband, lease lines, mobile – Vodafone & O2)
* Add and organise data within the billing system
* Monitor and report billing data using internal systems
* Handle discrepancies across platforms (e.g. Zoho, Salesstar, My Accounts), reconcile and validate within Abillity
* Customer Communications:
* Generate and send end-of-contract letters to approximately 200 customers per month
* Handle internal and customer queries via email and telephone professionally
* Produce and dispatch letters related to billing and customer accounts
* Systems & Reporting:
* Work with the Abillity billing platform, gradually transitioning from manual data handling
* Import, match, and verify data from multiple sources
* Produce internal reports and compile team data for review
* Collaboration:
* Work closely within a team of six young professionals
* Share ad hoc tasks with team members as needed
* Participate in cross-functional communication and support roles
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
* Excel to a confident level e.g. formulas and pivot tables
* Ideally billing admin experience or data driven experience
* Phone manner: Clear, confident communication over the phone
* Exposure to any of the following systems is beneficial: Abillity, Zoho, Salesstar, My Accounts or other billing platform (preferred)
