£12.71 per hour
Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Are you organised, reliable, and ready to make a difference in a busy healthcare environment? We are currently recruiting for a Band 2 Clerical Officer to join the team at Ulster Hospital in Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a respected healthcare setting, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide general clerical and administrative support.
2. Greeting patients upon arrival
3. Manage patient records and data entry accurately.
4. Manage incoming calls and enquiries in a professional manner.
5. Assist with scheduling, filing, and correspondence.
6. Support clinical and administrative staff as required.
Essential Criteria
7. Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
8. Strong organisational and communication skills
9. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
11. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Desirable
12. Previous clerical or administrative experience (preferably in a healthcare setting)
Additional Information
13. Immediate availability is highly desirable.
14. Full-time hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
15. Competitive hourly rate of £12.71
