Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school in the South Wirral area to recruit multiple Learning Support Assistants for September 2025. These exciting roles are offered on a temp to perm basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position based on performance.
About the Role:
* Support students aged 11–16 with additional learning needs (ALN), including SEN and SEMH.
* Work closely with teaching staff to ensure inclusive classroom practice.
* Provide one-to-one or small group support, both in and out of the classroom.
* Monitor student progress and contribute to reports and reviews.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or a relevant qualification (e.g., Psychology degree).
* A genuine interest in supporting children with learning and emotional needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
