New Directions Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teachers seeking part-time opportunities in schools across Knutsford. This role is ideal for teachers looking for flexibility while continuing to make a positive impact on children’s learning and development.
We work with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools that are committed to providing high-quality education and nurturing environments for both pupils and staff. Opportunities are available on a short-term, long-term, and potential temp-to-perm basis.
The Role:
• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
• Providing high-quality teaching for planned absences, PPA cover, and longer-term assignments
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback where required
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The flexibility and confidence to work across different year groups
• A proactive and professional approach to teaching
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and the primary curriculum
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• A full driving licence and access to transport (desirable)
