The Pharmacy Department within Raigmore Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated pharmacy technician to join our Aseptic Dispensing Services team.
The post holder will support the Lead Pharmacy Technician with the planning and delivery of high standard aseptic dispensing services. You will have the opportunity to further develop in your role and be actively involved in various aspects of aseptic audit and service development project work as well as participating in Education and Training.
The department has an excellent team of friendly Pharmacy staff committed to service modernisation and to developing the role of pharmacy technicians and support staff. We encourage our team to undertake further training and aim to support this as much as possible.
You must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and be able to demonstrate a high level of professional practice and commitment to continued professional development. You will ideally have completed the Higher National Procedures for Aseptic Checking (PACT) course or be willing to undertake this with departmental support.
The post is based at Raigmore hospital and there will be a requirement to participate in departmental rotas for extended opening hours, public holidays and weekend working.
