The Department of Trauma & Orthopaedics at the Princess Royal University Hospital, part of Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Trauma & Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon.
The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive team of 12 Consultants and 3 Associate Specialists, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams at the Princess Royal University Hospital and Denmark Hill. There may be opportunities for cross-site working between Denmark Hill and other sites, subject to agreement and needs.
The post holder will support existing foot and ankle services within the orthopaedic department and is expected to develop the unit further. The role involves providing a full range of elective foot & ankle services to the surrounding region, including south-east London and Kent. The candidate will also be involved in managing a wide range of conditions, including lower limb trauma, with a focus on complex lower limb trauma in elderly patients with fragility fractures.
