We are currently recruiting for a workshop supervisor within our Luton workshop. You will be responsible for looking after our team of HGV Technicians, as well as working on our fleet of HGV vehicles. We’re looking for an established supervisor or an experienced technician who has the aptitude and desire to take on a new challenge.

About The Role
Location: Luton
1. Salary £49,308.77
2. Working 45 hours per week
3. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
4. Start times: 06:00 am - 15:30pm

What will I be doing?
8. You will be the bridge between workshop and the fleet office.
9. You will issue Jobs to technicians through the shift.
10. Be the first point of contact for all technicians.
11. To report any problems to the management team as soon as possible.
12. To ensure that all workshop personnel are wearing the correct PPE for jobs, carry out safety in mind conversations and reporting of near miss incidents.
13. Carry out QC work as and when required.
14. Work with the parts department ensuring that we get the right parts, at the right price in the right time, including sundries and consumable.
15. Carry out weekly supervisor checks.
What are the requirements?
16. Team leader or supervisor experience is essential.
17. The position requires a flexible, forwards thinking approach.
18. The willingness to undertake any qualifications to succeed in the role.
19. Experience as an HGV technician.
20. Good knowledge of the DVSA standards.
