Overview
We are seeking an experienced UX designer with strong expertise in the Banking domain who will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects. Hybrid working: the places you work from day to day will vary according to your role, needs, and business requirements; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home, noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role
This role supports continuous improvement of the digital user experience across multiple digital channels. You will help define interactivity and design for a variety of products, balancing user needs with business goals and technical capabilities. You will focus on understanding how and why customers use our products and communicate these needs, proposing solutions that excite and engage customers.
Key Accountabilities
* Work across the full product lifecycle, translating insights from research and analytics into concepts and solutions
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to define vision and strategy
* Collaborate across the UX and content community to create and improve the bank's design system and practices
* Put the user at the center of everything and champion user interests
* Rapidly sketch and prototype ideas and design the finer details of interactions or components
* Maintain knowledge of and adherence to relevant regulatory requirements
* Consumer Duty: Maintain knowledge of and adherence to relevant regulatory requirements
Your Skills
Technical capabilities
* Experience designing consumer-focused digital projects
* Familiar with current design philosophies such as Lean UX, Design Sprint, design thinking, etc.
* Strong communicator to facilitate workshops and brainstorm initial design concepts
* Ability to create interactive prototypes using Figma or in the browser with HTML and CSS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Interface and interaction design
* Prototyping and wireframing
* Navigation and information architecture
* Knowledge of IA solutions
* Proficiency with design software such as Figma
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
* Current portfolio reflecting strong online design understanding
* BA in Graphic Design or related field
* Keen to learn and develop
* Understanding of new technologies and industry trends
* Attention to detail; commercially minded and editorially aware
* Passion for design research, content architecture, usability, and accessibility
* Experience working in an agile environment
