Key Duties & Responsibilities for our Room Leader: * Work as part of a team to ensure your room runs smoothly * Lead a small team of staff to support the delivery of the nursery’s curriculum, ensuring all children are receiving the best opportunities for learning and development * Work in partnership with parents/carers and families, building excellent relationships and ensuring an engaging environment with effective learning opportunities * Be an effective key person * Ensure that children are kept safe and that all legislation in relation to Health and Safety and Safeguarding is complied with * Ensure all policies, procedures and core values are adhered to Essential Skills and Experience Required for our Room Leader: * An Ofsted recognised Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification * Experience of working in Room Leader/Senior Practitioner role * A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development * Ability to engage and inspire children through creative and stimulating activities * Ability to lead and inspire a small team * Excellent communication skills * Paediatric First * Safeguarding Schedule: 35 hours across 4 days per week or 40 hours across 4.5 days per week.
