Key Responsibilities
The post holder will have operational management responsibility for Children’s Neurodevelopment Teams and will ensure the provision of high-quality clinical services supporting individuals with access to assessments and appropriate treatment for ADHD and Autism.
The post holder will coordinate and develop the team, implementing and maintaining services within a defined resource, and work collaboratively with external partners to ensure that mental and physical health needs are supported with parity and that the service operates in a safe, effective and efficient way as part of the wider health and social care system.
The post holder will provide clear visible operational and clinical leadership (in line with experience and qualifications), uphold and monitor the clinical standards of the service, and provide managerial supervision to the team, supporting the Service Manager and Directorate Leads with service delivery.
Qualifications & Skills
* Extensive experience of working at Band 6 or above.
* Effective communication skills, able to represent the service in meetings, write reports, and respond to complaints.
* Ability to interface with colleagues from multi-disciplinary backgrounds.
* Passion to make a difference, high motivation, and strong leadership skills.
* Access to transport and ability to travel across all localities of the Trust.
