Offer description

Are you ready to lead the charge in delivering innovative network infrastructure for one of our most strategic client projects? We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager with a background in Networks who thrive in high-stakes environments and brings a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and client-facing finesse.

Step into a role where your expertise truly builds the future of connectivity.

As a key member of our technical project management team, you’ll play a central role in delivering a sophisticated infrastructure programme that demands innovation, precision, and vision.

You’ll partner with world-class engineers, architects, and collaborators to design and roll out a secure, scalable, high-performance network—one that sets new standards for reliability and speed.

This isn’t just about ticking off deliverables. It’s about leading the network strategy, steering projects through challenges, and ensuring every landmark is achieved with impact and purpose.

If you thrive in a collaborative environment, love solving problems at scale, and want to see your work make a tangible difference, we want to hear from you.

This is a client-facing role based on-site in Stevenage, requiring active security clearance.

We can offer great career progression, flexible benefits and excellent development opportunities.

What you will be doing:

* Lead the end-to-end delivery of network components within a wider project—covering planning, execution, risk management, and customer communication.
* Define network requirements with architects, engineers, and clients, turning them into actionable plans.
* Be responsible for implementation and optimisation of LAN/WAN, segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, monitoring, remote access, and deployment of routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
* Make sure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and internal security policies.
* Manage project timelines, resources, and quality of delivery.
* Run technical workshops and produce documentation (HLD/LLD, test plans, operational handovers).

What you will bring:

* Proven experience leading technical projects, ideally in network infrastructure or security domains.
* Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
* Experience with enterprise-grade networking equipment and tools (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
* Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and Ansible for infrastructure automation is a plus.
* Superb communication and customer leadership skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience working in Agile and/or ITIL environments.
* Ability to lead multi-functional teams and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

It would be great if you had:

* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or related field.
* Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CCNP, or equivalent.
* Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and cloud networking best practices.

If you are interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we’re looking for, please do apply, we’d love to hear from you!
