Coachhire4u.com is a busy passenger transport Operator based at Luton Airport operating 30 Coaches and Buses, in addition acts as a booking agent for other mini-bus and Coach Operators around the UK. The operation dates back to 1969 We are looking to add a new day time Operations Controller to the team, there are 9 colleagues within the operations team 2 Cleaners, 3 mechanics and one coach painter that make up the team to ensure a quality service delivery The Operations Controller role will involve direct communication with our clients, assisting and communicating with drivers and contractors. Updating system records, taking phone calls and acting on the communication, taking action to resolve issues swiftly, delivering messages between departments ETC. Ensuring the operation runs smoothly within compliance and regulations, continually monitoring live operations and communicating with drivers, contractors and customers to ensure service delivery. Use of technology and computers is essential and the ability to communicate and manage people. As an Operations Controller you are the heart beat of the company THIS ROLE WILL SUIT AN INDIVIDUAL THAT IS EXPERIENCED OR HAS TAXI CONTROL EXPERIENCE HAS STUDIED LEISURE & TOURISM AND/OR BUSINESS STUDIES AND UNDERSTAND THE DEMANDS OF OUR CUSTOMERS AND STRIVES TO MEET THESES DEMANDS The work pattern is 4 on 4 off 07:00-19:00. There is also a requirement to take diverted calls out of hours on occasions. This requirement is split with other team members. N.B. from March -Nov there is a night time 4 on 4 off structure supporting the day time team.
