Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a machinery manufacturer to recruit a Lead Service Engineer to join their facility based on the outskirts of Bradford.
Salary - £40k+ (flexible dependent on candidate)
Working hours - 37.33
8.00 am to 16.25 pm Monday to Thursday and
8.00 am to 14.00 pm on Friday.
Approved overtime Monday to Friday paid at 1.25 normal rate, 1.5 on Saturdays, double time on Sundays.
There will be travel involved but mainly UK and Ireland and mainly during the week with overnight stays.

This Lead Service Engineer is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to grow with the role, our client is looking for someone who can develop the department to be more commercial and consultative with customers during visits.
Managing a small team of 3 engineers and working alongside them this role requires someone who will implement simpler and better ways of working, using technology to be able to maximise the department's time.
Other responsibilities of the Lead Service Engineer include:
To lead the Field Sales Team to achieve the budget target of sales value and time utilisation
Ensure employees are fully inducted, trained and fully utilised to the optimum skills level as detailed in the skills training matrix, allocating skills where appropriate
Manage the capabilities and outputs of those within the team and identify training needs
To inspect site work
To carry out site surveys
To maintain the service stock
To identify opportunities for upselling and upgrades for customers and discuss these opportunities directly with the customer during any site visits
To provide internal feedback to Sales and MD on identified sales opportunities, including upgrades, upsells, refurbishments and new equipment
To prepare the RAMs for all work required to be carried out by the Field Sales teams
To plan and manage the schedule for the Field Sales team to ensure the team capacity is well utilised
To ensure all work carried out is costed and invoiced to the customer in a timely manner
To be successful in this role, the Lead Service Engineer will need the following skills:
IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S Qualification.
Level 3 apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical or installation/service engineering
Experience working in a supervisory role.
Understanding of H&S policy, procedures and working safely.
Understanding of pneumatics and electrical fault finding.
Experience and exposure to schedule planning, selling, training and providing costings.
Strong IT skills including using MS Office and MRP systems.
