Experienced Control Systems Engineer who is driven and self-motivated is urgently required to join a skilled engineering team within a business that is at the forefront of innovative Marine Engineering. Working on both current and future projects as they continue to expand, you will take ownership of marine control solutions from concept through to commissioning.

The Role: Control Systems Engineer
* Design and implement control systems for large marine systems
* Work with vessel manufacturers to provide installation guidance and vessel-specific system variants
* Ensure compliance and safety in hazardous environments, including ATEX-rated installations
* Utilize Beckhoff with Structured Text
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate control systems into marine technology solutions
* Provide guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to final implementation, maintaining technical excellence
The Person:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred
* Experience with marine or machinery-based industrial control systems
* Understanding of marine sector complexities is beneficial but not essential
* Experience with ATEX/IEC-Ex rated installations is desired
* Proficiency with Beckhoff systems is desired
* Ability to program with Structured Text
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
* Experience managing projects through their entire lifecycle, including commissioning and documentation
