This is a permanent, full-time daytime role working Monday to Friday, with flexibility required during peak periods. The position offers an annual salary of up to £52,000 depending on skills and experience. The role is based in Crick and covers two sites, Crick and Burton-upon-Trent, so occasional travel between locations will be required.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Responsible for leading stock control teams and processes across multiple sites ensuring accurate inventory levels.
Key tasks:
* Manage stock control processes across multiple sites (2) ensuring accuracy and integrity of inventory
* Create and implement action plans to improve quality inventory accuracy and service
* Develop routines to record monitor and maintain stock levels effectively
* Analyse root causes and trends and educate teams to prevent recurring issues
* Conduct audits of inventory functions and use data to recommend improvements
* Work closely with operations to ensure efficient stock flow through sites
* Lead and develop the team fostering communication and continuous improvement
Profile:
* Strong background in logistics and stock control
* Experience with stock keeping principles, inventory accuracy, and PIS cycles
* Knowledge of FMCG, ideally within 3PL, B2C, or retail environments
* Familiarity with JDA or similar inventory management systems
* Fashion industry experience is a bonus but not essential
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly
* Great communication and leadership skills to manage and develop a team
