Housekeeping Team Leader Location: Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster Salary: £13.45 per hour / £25,178 annual equivalent Hours: 36 hours per week, on a 2-week rolling rota (including alternative weekends). Contract Type: Permanent About the Role: Evermore Care is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Ashton Manor, a luxury care home in Lancaster. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading and managing the housekeeping team, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Your duties will include managing cleaning schedules, overseeing laundry services, and ensuring adherence to Health & Safety, COSHH, and infection control regulations. Manage, train, and motivate the housekeeping team. Ensure all cleaning schedules and procedures are followed. Monitor equipment and stock, reporting any issues or shortages. Work with the maintenance team to address any damages or repairs. Conduct regular audits of cleaning standards and staff performance. Hold staff meetings and monitor the completion of assigned tasks. Experience and Qualifications: Prior management experience in housekeeping, preferably within a care or similar setting. Strong understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH, and infection control protocols. Excellent leadership and team management skills. High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining superior cleaning standards.
