Job Overview
Health Care Support Worker to support the running of the Chest Clinic at St Woolos Hospital. The role involves providing clinical observations and respiratory diagnostics and supporting nurse and consultant teams. Working as part of a team with supervision in a busy outpatient unit. Fixed term 6 months from 1 April 2026 to meet service needs. Welsh speaker desirable but not required.
Responsibilities
* Provide support in undertaking clinical observations and respiratory diagnostics.
* Assist nurses and consultants within the Chest Clinic.
* Maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills in a constantly changing environment.
* Work within a team and manage the running of the Chest Clinic under supervision.
Essential Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2/QCF Level 2 or equivalent experience.
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
Desirable Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3.
* Experience working in an outpatient department.
