Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly-motivated Nursing Associate to join our friendly, supportive and exciting family team on Ward F12. The post holder will work as part of a team to provide a safe, effective, efficient care environment for patients, relatives and carers. They will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care under indirect supervision from senior staff.
Responsibilities
* Plan the delivery of patient care and take responsibility for implementing and evaluating that care, using an appropriate nursing model.
* Provide advice and education to patients, staff and learners within the directorate as required. Develop communication networks across specialities and throughout the multidisciplinary team.
* Be able to prioritise their own workload and of those working with them such as learners and Healthcare Assistants.
* Carry out nursing care to the highest possible standard according to Trust Policies and Practice and Clinical Guidelines. This requires a thorough understanding of policies and guidance related to infection control, hygiene and individualised patient needs.
