Support Worker - Aurora Orchard Manor
49 per hour (linked to competency and qualifications) PLUS £1500 Welcome bonus *
20 per year for a 40 hour week
Hours: 40 hours per week (part-time hours available, minimum 24hrs per week)
Training: Full training provided and once passed probation we will support and fund studying the Level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care

Rated CQC Outstanding Aurora Orchard Manor are seeking compassionate and dedicated people to become Support Workers for our young people on a full or part time basis.
Set within 14 acres, Orchard Manor offers a supportive living and learning environment for young adults with severe and profound learning difficulties and complex health needs. With specialist facilities and a focus on promoting independence, we support each of our young people through the transition from education into adulthood.
Find out more about the amazing work we do - Supported Living Accommodation for Young Adults Meldreth, Cambridge (theauroragroup.As a support worker you will be highly involved in personal care, this is supporting our young people with all aspects of personal hygiene including toileting, dressing and maintain their personal appearance.
As well as supporting with their medical needs you will also get involved in helping with the young adults therapies such as rebound therapy or hydrotherapy in our newly renovated pool. Independence is prompted wherever is possible, the adults will often run their own days with what they like to do, so you could be helping make things in the sites enterprise scheme, going on shopping trips, taking part in forestry lessons or even going to the pub!!
Support Worker - Young Adults
Ability to be creative in meeting the needs of the young adults.
Ability to work on a rota pattern which will include working every other weekend
Ultimately, we are looking for people with a passion to build relationships and positively change the lives of the young adults that we work with.
Welcome bonus is payable in 2 payments - 50% following successful completion of probation and 50% after one year service
