Accounts Receivable Assistant - Godalming - part time (Flexible with how you take the hours) - 6 month contract - £13 - £18 per hour
I am currently recruiting for a business in Godalming who require an Accounts Receivable Assistant on a 3-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
* Monitor customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payment, and other irregularities.
* Perform regular reconciliations of accounts receivable ledger.
* Follow up on outstanding invoices via email, phone, or other communication methods.
* Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
* Prepare and analyse aging reports to identify trends or issues.
* Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes.
* Assist in month-end closing procedures and support audits as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations
What you will need to be successful:
* 2+ years' experience in a similar role
* Team player
* Available at short notice
