Planning and Policy Officer
Contract: Permanent | Hours: Part‑time, 21 hours a week | Salary: £27,108 - £29,860 FTE per annum | Location: Thorpe Road, Norwich, NR1 (hybrid working available)

The charity is the county’s largest environmental charity, established in 1926. It manages over 60 nature reserves, ten kilometres of coastline, nine Norfolk broads, nine National Nature Reserves, and five ancient woodlands.
Role Summary
The Planning and Policy Officer will lead on planning and development responses on behalf of the charity, ensuring nature’s voice is heard in the planning system.
Responsibilities
* Prepare or respond to development plans and planning applications.
* Provide expert advice on UK planning system and environmental protection legislation.
* Advise stakeholders and contribute to policy development.
Qualifications
* Experience in preparing or responding to development plans and planning applications.
* Good knowledge of the UK planning system and environmental protection legislation.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
