Senior HR Advisor / Employee Relations - 12 Month FTC - Mat Cover - Remote - December start

We are recruiting for an exciting 12-month maternity cover position as a Senior HR Advisor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for HR, with a significant focus on employee relations, and experience operating at a senior level within ER.
You will collaborate with the Employee Relations Manager to support our leadership team and influence managers on employee relations matters.
Role Description and key requirements:
* Provide credible, expert, and commercially astute ER advice to stakeholders at all levels on issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance, absence, TUPE, redundancy, reasonable adjustments, and complex ER cases.
* Ensure advice is tailored to the relevant employment status (employee, worker), considering employment and organizational risks.
* Track cases accurately on the case management system and review data to drive actionable change.
* Coach stakeholders on ER matters, enhancing management and leadership capabilities, and ensuring decisions align with organizational values.
* Maintain good knowledge of UK employment law, sharing recent case law with the team and staying updated on relevant legal developments.
* Deliver ER learning sessions confidently and engagingly.
* Work collaboratively with the ER team, HR Business Partners, and the wider HR team to achieve key priorities set by the Head of ER or HR Leadership Team.
* Use case insights to inform feedback to the Head of ER, influencing policy reviews and creating management toolkits as needed.
* Complete or advise on complex investigations, reporting findings professionally and considering risks of different outcomes.
* Write professional and compelling outcome letters for complex ER cases, including whistleblowing, sexual harassment, and discrimination.
* Manage ER cases effectively, working in line with ER team success metrics.
* Assist the Head of ER in completing projects as required.
