AG Hotels Group invites applications for the position of Breakfast Chef at our newly acquired property, The Galleon Hotel in Hull.
We are seeking a culinary professional with a genuine passion for food, a keen eye for detail, and a steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional standards in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have at least one year experience in a similar role and thrive on crafting delightful breakfast dishes that enhance the guest experience.
Please note: This role requires early starts on weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare a wide variety of breakfast items, ensuring high quality and standards.
* Oversee and replenish the buffet station throughout breakfast service, ensuring food presentation is appealing and items are fresh.
* Prepare à la carte breakfast orders as required, ensuring efficiency and meeting guest expectations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to hygiene and safety standards at all times.
* Label food items and manage stock, ensuring items are properly stored and comply with health and safety regulations.
* Contribute to the preparation for the following day's service by ensuring all necessary ingredients and items are ready and organized.
* Work as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient breakfast service, especially during peak hours.

Who We're Looking For:
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a breakfast chef or similar kitchen role.
* Passion for food, with an eye for detail.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Strong communication skills and a team player.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.
* Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as required.
* Provide exceptional hospitality to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
* Food Safety Level 2 certification is a must. HACCP will be an added advantage
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.50 per hour
