We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Secretary/Administrative Assistant for a contract position based in Gaydon, supporting the Factory Manager and Vehicle Platform Tech Centre. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of engineering operations within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
* Provide administrative support to individuals, small teams, or departments.
* Edit, proofread, format, and produce documents.
* Manage data entry and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems.
* Coordinate meetings, manage diaries, and arrange travel.
* Handle internal and external communications professionally.
Support financial operations including:
* Overheads forecasting and actuals (travel, overtime, IT, licences, etc.)
* ED&T (Engineering Design & Test) analysis
* Accruals and shopping cart processes (SAP)
* Input collection for Non-Product Capital and Product Direction Letters
* Weekly financial meeting support
• Experienced administrative professional (S4 level or equivalent).
• Able to work independently in non-routine situations.
• Skilled in training, delegating, and reviewing work of junior staff.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
• Comfortable working with senior leadership and engineering teams.
