The role and the team
You would be joining the accounts payable team. The team works closely with our carriers and carrier reps investigating payment queries and requesting documents while making daily payments. As a specialist, you will be responsible for working within your assigned role to complete all work with a high degree of accuracy while following the guidelines of company policy and basic accounting principles. You would be joining a friendly fun family who work hard to complete their tasks together and individually.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for creating all payments within Oracle Cloud and manually on the banking platforms - 12 payments per day that must be submitted
2. Responsible for all SG&A invoices from approval to submission and payment
3. Management of vendor and supplier details as required
4. Monitor all unvouchered items to ensure documents are received prompt and in the correct manor
5. Open, review and distribute all physical post
6. Manage incidents on existing loads and escalate when required
7. Work with internal reps to resolve carrier/vendor complaints
8. Regularly review carrier statements to ensure the creditors balance is accurate
9. Responding to all queries through shared inboxes from internal and external parties
10. Other duties as assigned based on business need
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experiences
11. Communication – You will be speaking with vendors & suppliers over the phone and via email
12. Problem Solving – You must be able to critically solve issues as they arise
13. Organization – Prioritization & time management are key
14. Ability to speak English fluently
