Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the team providing clerical support for the Radiology department based in Bronglais Hospital.
The successful candidate must be a confident individual who is comfortable communicating with the public and other professionals, possess a good level of IT skills and be able to effectively manage and prioritise their own workload. The Radiology Department at Bronglais Hospital is a friendly department, and you will be supported to reach your full potential within the team as the department provides a range of diagnostic imaging services to the community.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
* Meet and greet service users at the reception area and act as the first point of contact.
* Book appointments and perform other clerical duties to provide the best possible service.
* Work as part of the clerical team and, when required, work independently in a busy department; demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, tact, and diplomacy.

Qualifications and Skills
Essential
* Level 3 qualification or equivalent with relevant experience
* Experience of working in an administrative environment
* Experience of working within an administrative role
* Organisational skills with the ability to plan own workload and meet deadlines
* Dealing with the public and experience of answering telephone calls and responding to queries
* The ability to work under pressure and remain calm
Desirable
* Working knowledge of Windows-based applications, e.g. Microsoft Word
* Welsh language skills (Level 1)
