We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality treatments. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit while assisting with various clinical procedures.
Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
* Provide excellent patient care by addressing patient concerns, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort throughout the treatment process.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring all information is up to date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
* Sterilise instruments and manage infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
* Collaborate effectively with the dental team, demonstrating strong communication skills to ensure seamless workflow.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health.
* Utilise IT systems for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and processing billing information efficiently.
* Organise the dental surgery to ensure it is clean, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Requirements
* Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant nursing qualifications.
* Strong patient care focus with a compassionate approach to healthcare.
* Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
* Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and the dental team.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
