Key Responsibilities: * Fabrication: Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components using various tools and machinery, including shears, lathes, presses, and computer-controlled equipment. * Welding: Joining metal parts using different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) to create strong and durable bonds. * Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and welding. * Material Preparation: Preparing metal for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and setting up components. * Quality Control: Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. * Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and ensuring the safe operation of welding and fabrication equipment. * Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations and procedures in the workshop.
