Personal Assistant

Ref: DP5503

Location: Bognor Regis

Employment status: Employed or Self‑employed

Hours per week: Bank PA to cover sickness, holidays or additional hours. Regular cleaner once a week.

Hourly pay rate: £12.71

This role supports a woman, and the candidate should be a woman.*

Drivers licence required: Yes

Own vehicle needed: Yes

Candidate must be able to drive her if required.

Requirement: Must have a DBS check and experience in providing support and sorting through things.

* Medication prompting/administering
* Personal grooming
* Eating and drinking assistance
* Moving and handling
* Other relevant duties as required
* Administration
* Housekeeping
* Shopping
* Cooking
* Transportation
* Companionship
* Looking after pets
* Gardening
* Dressing / undressing
* Bathroom assistance


Candidate Qualities

* Respectful of privacy and confidentiality
* Reliable with good timekeeping
* Follow instructions and work on own initiative
* Hygienic, tidy and well organised
* Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
* Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
* Honest and cheerful

* Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
* Comfortable with pets
* Always work to high standards of health & safety
* Patient & trustworthy
* Understanding
* Good cleaning, clearing and organisation skills
* Experience with mental health and physical disabilities
* Able to step up at last minute
* Can deal with emotional meltdowns and provide support accordingly
* Happy go lucky
* Flexible; days and times can change each week
* Able to work opposite to other PA and communicate
* Able to cover holiday
* Non-judgmental


Ideally

* Able to think outside the box


Additional Requirements

* Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
