The role: A hybrid leadership and clinical post, split roughly 3 days Academy Lead / 2 days clinical practice.

* Work with Clinical Leads to set clinical standards aligned to CQC guidance
* Design and deliver learning programmes, workshops and courses to upskill clinicians
* Identify "Academy Champions" to embed learning across teams
* Use performance data, audit outcomes and customer feedback (e.g. Trustpilot) to shape development priorities
* Measure and evaluate the impact of learning interventions

Clinical side (~2 days per week):

* Comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents and young adults with complex emotional, behavioural and developmental presentations
* ADOS administration and interpretation for suspected ASD, including with co-occurring trauma or attachment difficulties
* MDS and outcome measures assessments
* Trauma-informed, attachment-based formulation and treatment planning
* Full diagnostic report writing and family feedback
* MDT working with psychiatrists, social workers, case managers and educators
* Supervision of interns, trainees and junior staff

Essential requirements:

* HCPC registration (or equivalent, e.g. Social Work England)
* 5+ years in a Lead role
* Proven experience leading an Academy, learning function or capability-building initiative
* Strong diagnostic assessment background using standardised tools
* Solid understanding of CQC guidelines
* Excellent facilitation, presentation and coaching skills
* Experience in a scaling healthcare organisation

Desirable:

* Experience establishing a new Academy from scratch
* Specialist trauma therapy training

Fit-style attributes: empathetic and patient-centred, highly organised, strong ownership and follow-through, comfortable in a fast-paced evolving environment, passionate about developing others.
