Your Role:
As a Financial Services Administrator, you’ll be an integral part of the team, assisting experienced paraplanners and financial advisors. Duties include:
*
o Sending out Letters of Authority promptly.
o Contacting pension and investment providers to gather information.
o Completing information checklists upon receipt of information.
o Creating plan summaries on receipt of LOA information.
o Carrying out anti-money laundering (AML) checks using SmartSearch.
o Processing new business applications, following up with providers, and updating client files with any progress.
o Completing processing checklists, accurately updating New Business Book record, and creating fee invoices on Xero.
o Sorting, scanning, and distributing incoming mail.
o Franking outgoing mail and delivering this to the Post Office.
o Completing cash balances carefully, making sure calculations are correct and recorded on the task.
o Setting up meeting rooms ahead of time to make sure they are tidy and ready to use.
o Arranging drinks and refreshments for client and internal meetings to create a welcoming environment.
o Answering incoming calls and provide friendly, professional support

* Ideally, some basic understanding of financial services or a related field (but full training will be provided!).
