Role: Support Worker
Location: Across the North West of England and North Wales
Pay: £15 - £20ph
Hours:
* Long days (8am - 11pm) and sleep in
* Shorter day shifts with varied times
* 12 hour shifts 8am - 8pm or 8pm - 8am
About the role
These roles will be working with children and young people with a range of Mental Health issues. You will be required to have experience working in a similar role. These positions are on a 2 to 1 basis.
Duties
* You will be required to ensure that children and young people are provided with the highest quality of care possible and to assist them reaching their fullest potential.
* To ensure children\'s safety and well-being is appropriately protected at all times
* To provide high standard help, care and support
* To enable clients / families or children and young people (as appropriate) to enjoy a range of food and support them to buy their food from various places including markets/ super markets or specialist shops

* The young people involved in these placements can have a range of needs, including:
* Challenging & aggressive behaviour
* Learning disability
* Autistic Spectrum Condition
* ADHD
* Personality Disorder
* Self-Injury
* M.H diagnosis
* Victims of the range of abuses
* Inappropriate behaviours
Criteria for these roles
* Child and Adult DBS - on the update service
* Previous Experience in a similar role
* NVQ Level 3 in childcare or equivalent (desirable not essential)
* References covering the last 3 years
