Description As a Regional Team Leader at Bamara, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding parents to achieve their education and employment goals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide mentorship, advice, and assistance to staff in your region and parents on your caseload who are participating in the Parents Pathway program. Your main tasks will include: Meeting with parents to assess their individual needs, goals, and challenges. Developing personalised pathways and plans to help parents overcome barriers to education and employment. Providing one-on-one mentorship and support to empower parents in achieving their education and employment objectives. Connecting parents with relevant community services, resources, and training opportunities. Monitoring progress and providing ongoing guidance to ensure parents remain on track towards their goals. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to create holistic support networks for parents. Manage staff within your region to coordinate the day to day operations for the North Queensland region. Staff training and onboarding. This position requires someone who is empathetic, patient, and understanding, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Skills And Experiences Proven experience in providing support and guidance to individuals facing barriers to employment or education Leadership experience and skills. Must have a minimum Certificate III in Community Services or Employment Services or relevant experience and be willing to undertake diploma level qualification whilst in employment. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement tailored support plans for clients Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse range of staff and client groups Knowledge of local community resources and support services available to parents and caregivers Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation in line with program requirements Understanding of the challenges faced by parents seeking to re-enter the workforce or pursue further education Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach when working with individuals from diverse backgrounds Working with Children Check blue card Drivers licence Benefits and Culture Bamara offers a rewarding role with career path opportunities and promotes a supportive team and work environment.
