This full-time position is ideal for someone who's motivated to make a difference in students' academic progress and emotional well-being, particularly those facing behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, especially those with behavioural needs.
Promote positive behaviour and help create an engaging classroom atmosphere.
Collaborate with teachers to deliver effective behaviour management strategies.
Encourage students' personal growth and academic success.
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting students with behavioural or emotional needs.
Confident in classroom management and maintaining focus among learners.
Patient, empathetic, and proactive in your approach.
A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Essential Criteria:
Experience working with secondary school students.
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related subject.
Enhanced DBS Disclosure and, where relevant, Overseas Police Clearances.
Professional references confirming your suitability for the role.
